On the 3rd day of August 2022, NSIA Insurance as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities visited VILLAGE OF HOPE Orphanage located at Gomoa Fete in the Central region.
The orphanage has been in existence for over 25 years taking care of orphans and vulnerable children across country with the objective of offering them hope and better future.
In conclusion the selection of VILLAGE OF HOPE as an outlet to give back to society was very appropriate and impactful.
The vivid expression of joy among the residents, students, teachers and Management staff was a clear indicator that giving back to society is the real face of EMPATHY.
The orphanage takes care of the feeding, clothing and essential medical care for over 200 inmates from nursery to the university. All these responsibilities come with enormous cost to the Management of the orphanage and therefore was appropriate NSIA Insurance selected the Village for the implementation of its Corporate Social Responsibility to support the efforts of the Management of the Village.
The package donated by NSIA INSURANCE includes Bags of Rice, cartons of tomato paste, gallons of cooking oil and carbonated soft drinks. Others are cartons of soap for bathing, bags of washing powder, gallons of liquid soap and bundles of toilet rolls with a face value of Six Thousand Ghana Cedis (6000 Ghs)
The NSIA INSURANCE team comprises of Mr. Francis Opoku (BDM –SOUTHERN ZONE) Mr., Samuel Kofi Ohene (Risk & Compliance) Mrs. Victoria Asamoah Twieku and David Agyiri (Administration).
